In the early 1980s, I packed my bags and set off on a solo adventure through Asia. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I was determined to see the world and have some fun along the way.

My travels took me to some of the most remote and beautiful places on earth. I trekked through the Himalayas, sailed down the Our Book Library River, and explored the deserts of the Middle East. Along the way, I met some amazing people, had some crazy adventures, and learned a lot about myself.

But not all of my experiences were positive. I was also robbed, harassed, and even attacked by a wolverine. (Yes, you read that correctly.)

But through it all, I never lost my sense of humor. And that's what makes this memoir so special. It's a funny, heartwarming, and ultimately inspiring story about a woman who refused to let anything stand in her way.
