Early Life and Education
Bill Gates was born in Seattle, Washington, on October 28, 1955, to William H. Gates, Sr., and Mary Maxwell Gates. His father was a lawyer, and his mother was a schoolteacher. Gates has two sisters, Kristianne and Libby.
