About the Author

Robert Kimber is a Jamaican-born writer whose work explores themes of identity, belonging, and the Caribbean experience. His previous novel, "A Girl Is a Half-Formed Thing," was shortlisted for the Goldsmiths Prize. Kimber is a graduate of the prestigious Iowa Writers' Workshop and currently teaches creative writing at the University of California, Riverside.
